Yahia Almouboudi is a Member of the Board of International Directors at Oxford Aerospace Academy – Algeria & MENA. He holds a PPL Pilot Licence and is an expert in international Civil Aviation training. Skip Navigation LinksMr. Almouboudi is the exclusive international agent for the MENA region for Foxcon Aviation & Research – Australia; International Sales & Acquisitions Director at Marques Aviation Ltd – Algeria & MENA; and former international agent for El-Nawrs Aviation Services, Algeria. In his role as Public Speaker, he regularly speaks at ICAO – Global Aviation Cooperation Symposia. He also acts as the Technical Program Chair for ICAO & IATA Legislation for the International Aerospace Engineering Conference (IAEC). At the academy, Mr. Almouboudi is a member of the instructors panel where he leads courses in Aviation English, Aviation Communication, Aviation Business, Aviation Safety, Aviation Security, Pilot Aeronautical Knowledge, Aviation legislation, and other. In addition, Mr. Almouboudi has direct responsibility for the academy’s Business Operations in Algeria & MENA. Mr. Almouboudi oversees liaisons with Government and educational institutions in Algeria and MENA countries for the development of private, commercial and unmanned aviation training programs.

Fati Abubakar

Nigeria

Fati Abubakar is a Member of the Board of International Directors at Oxford Aerospace Academy – Nigeria. Fati Abubakar is a highly acclaimed documentary photographer and photojournalist; and a public health worker in Nigeria. She specializes in documenting cities and towns, highlighting both the positives and negatives of each location. She focuses on health perspectives, using photography as a medium to highlight problems at the community level. She also has an interest in documenting cultures, conflicts, urban poverty, rural development and humanitarian issues. Ms. Abubakar has a special interest in creating counter-narratives for underrepresented communities. Her current work is a personal project to showcase her hometown of Borno State at the time of Boko Haram. A project entitled “Bits of Borno” on social media has gained critical acclaim, and has been published in media outlets including the New York Times, BBC, Reuters, CNN, Voice of America, Newsweek Europe, Africa is a Country, and Nigerian Newspapers such as ThisDay and The Blueprint. She has been commissioned to work with UNICEF, International Alert, Action Aid, and other organizations. Ms. Abubakar BSc, MSc is passionate about education and community development, and she oversees liaisons with educational institutions for the promotion of education and training in the Aerospace Sciences in Nigeria.

Fadi Elamin

United Arab Emirates & MENA

Fadi Elamin is a Member of the Board of International Directors at Oxford Aerospace Academy – United Arab Emirates & MENA. Mr. Elamin is a Projects Manager at Knowledge Technology Systems LLC. (United Arab Emirates, Sudan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Italy) specialized in Air Transport (Aviation) Management and Corporate Management. He holds a BSc in Air Transport Management from Coventry University – UK in partnership with Emirates Aviation University – UAE, and higher national diploma in Business Management from Emirates Aviation University – UAE in partnership with Pearson University – UK. Mr. Elamin was Operations Officer in the UAV and Drones Department at Knowledge Technology Systems LLC. Mr. Elamin supervises liaisons with educational and government institutions for the stimulation of Aviation and Aerospace Sciences training in United Arab Emirates, Sudan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and other MENA countries.

Sallihin Othman

Singapore

Sallihin Othman is a Member of the Board of International Directors at Oxford Aerospace Academy – Singapore. He is a graduate of the highly accredited Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU), having achieved Cum Laude Honors, and he currently holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics degree. Mr. Othman started flying at the age of 16, joining the Singapore Youth Flying Club and, since then, he has flown in many different types of aircraft, including a Hughes 500 helicopter. He is a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association’s (EAA) Chapter 288 in Daytona Beach, Florida, which brings together individuals interested in learning about aviation as well as sharing their own knowledge of aviation with others. Mr Othman is also a member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), the International Society of Air Safety Investigators (ISASI), and the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA). Being a Youth Aviation Ambassador in the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, he is very committed to the Next Generation Aerospace Professionals (NGAP) programme that was launched by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), which aims to promote aviation to the younger generations in anticipation of the high demand for aviation and aerospace professionals by 2060. With close to two decades of experience in the aviation industry, he is looking forward to imparting his knowledge to those interested in aviation. Mr Othman oversees Oxford Aerospace Academy business operations in Singapore.

Dr. Dimitrios Gkritzapis

Greece

Dr. Dimitrios Gkritzapis is a Member of the Board of International Directors at Oxford Aerospace Academy – Greece. He is a Major at the Hellenic Police Headquarters in the Special Police Forces Division serving in the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) Department in Athens. He graduated from the Department of Physics, School of Applied Sciences, University of Patras, Greece and he holds a PhD in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering awarded by the Polytechnic School at the University of Patras. Dr. Gkritzapis has been a Lecturer at the Hellenic Army Academy since 2007. He has published over 25 scientific papers in international journals and conferences and an academic book. In 2011, Dr. Gkritzapis was designated Project Manager for the Hellenic Police Pilot Program for the operational use and evaluation of UAVs in the Hellenic state borders funded by the External Borders Development Funds. In 2016, Dr. Gkritzapis obtained his pilot license for ultra-light aircraft, and since 2017 he is a UAV Operator Examiner endorsed by the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). He is also a certified operator and technician for the UAVs Squadron in operation in Greece. Dr. Gkritzapis is an Instructor at Unmanned Vehicle University (USA). Dr. Gkritzapis supervises Oxford Aerospace Academy business operations and aerospace training programs in Greece.

Dato’ Lester

Malaysia

Dato’ Lester Tay is a Member of the Board of International Directors at Oxford Aerospace Academy – Malaysia. Dato’ Lester is the Co-Founder and President of the Malaysia UAV Developments Association (MUDA). He is Chairman of the World UAV Federation – Malaysia Chapter, Honorary Secretary of the International UAV Application Industry Alliance, International Secretariat for Asia Pacific UAV Industry Union, and the Honorary Treasurer of the Asia Pacific Security Association (APSA) Malaysia Chapter patronaged by the Malaysia Home Affair Minister. Dato’ Lester is also Director of the Business Development Bureau of Malaysia Security Cooperative Limited, and Director of the Malaysia Heritage Contractor Cooperative Limited. Dato’ Lester oversees liaisons with government, ministries and educational institutions for the promotion of development in UAV applications in border security and geospatial research in Malaysia. Dato’ Lester supervises international collaboration initiatives with the Australia Drone Academy, Taiwan UAS Industry, MUDA Airbase for UAV Training Academy, Strat Aero PLC – United Kingdom, World UAV Federation – China, and UAV organisations in Taiwan, South Korea and other countries. Dato’ Lester is recipient of the Global Distinguished Entrepreneurship Award by the Malaysia Ministry of International Trade and Industry, being conferred the knightship of Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP) by His Royal Highness Sultan Ahmad Shah, and being recommended and awarded the decoration of Ahli Sultan Ahmad Shah (AAP) by the State Government. He obtained an Honours Master degree in Business and Administration from University of Wales, United Kingdom in 2013 and a B.Sc. Hons in Biology from Universiti Malaysia Sabah in 2005. Dato’ Lester supervises liaisons with government and educational institutions for the promotion of education and training in the Aerospace Sciences in Malaysia.
